I, G. Don Grusczynski started my family research back in 1960. It was a tedious old fashioned method of traveling to different cities in Wisconsin, talking to relatives, distant and near related, visiting courthouses for records, and trying best as I could, verifing all of this information. It was difficult and began slowing, as far as new information being received, around the late 1960s early 1970s. The real slowdown was trying to trace relatives that emigrated from Europe. After drawing my own family tree on butcher wrap paper, I rolled it up and stored it along with pages of information for many years. I brought it back to life once again when some nephews living in California were on a visit to my house, and stated that they had become interested in geneolgy. They wanted my drawing and all the information that I had accumulated. I presented copies of everything that I had to my two nephews. Now with computers and all the software provided on the web, I thought that I would once again try to fill holes in the geneology of the Grusczynski name. My time is running out.
