I don't know much about my family tree as my father passed away and can't answer all my questions, I'm starting this page in hopes that others out there will see it and help me out as much as possible.
There are alot of Gruetzman's in the U.S and a few in Canada I'm hoping that some how we can all add a bit and trace this tree as far back as we can, Then I know this tree will be as big as my ancesters intended it to be.
My great-grandfather William Gruetzman was born in either Frankfurt or Hanover Germany, My grandfather Franz Anthony Gruetzmann born 1883 in Chicago Ill, I know of one brother of his named Augusta Gruetzmann, my grandmother Frances M Gruetzman(Miller)born 1891 In Toronto Canada. They were married September 25 1909 in Chicago Ill. I have an Aunt that was born in Chicago, Frances Pearl Gruetzman born 1926-1995, after her birth (1928) I know they moved to Toronto Canada were their three other children were born. From there it is just bits and pieces. My family history is very important to me more then ever now, as i would love to be able to pass it onto my children as their grandfather is no longer here to tell them all the stories that grandfathers tell.
