I am looking for any information on:
Brijido Maes, Brijido Maez, Brijido Lucero, (possibly) Brijido Padilla. This is my grandfather, which I knew him as Bill Maez.
His parent died when he was real young, his parents were Jose Maes, & Caterina Padilla. He lived with a family with the last name of Lucero, then he changed his name to (Brijido Lucero). When he married Maggie Mary Chavez, (she went by Maragaret) she did not like the last name "Lucero", they remarried and became "Maes". Grandmother did not like the pronunciation of "Maes" so she changed it to "Maez". I know my grandfather has a sister, with the last name of Padilla. Maragaret Chavez has 5 brothers and 3 sister. My grandparents where married somewhere in NM around 1929-1930. I am looking for any information regarding "Maez, Maes,Lucero,Padilla and Chavez" that lives or has lived in the areas of: Santa Rosa NM, Pintada NM, Tucumcari NM, Portales NM, or Pastura NM.
