Oscar BOREL died at about age 36 years, on 4 July 1892, New Iberia Ch., Iberia Ph., LA. His estate record was recorded in Iberia Ph. on 18 December 1892, as #676 1/2. (Batiste, Attakapas Gazette)
In the 1900 census, Celestine lived with her children on Jane St., in Ward 6, New Iberia, Iberia Ph. Celestine and her oldest daughter, Marie Coralie's occupations were listed as seamstress. Her oldest son Sidney's occupation was listed as a drayman.
In the 1910 census, Celestine and her son Albert lived in Ward 8, lberville Ph. Albert's occupation was listed as a laborer on a sugar farm. Both were listed as speaking French.
