In the 1880 and 1900 census, Eva lived with her parents in Ward 2, St. Mary Ph. In the 1900 census Eva was listed as attending school.

Eva never married. Eva EDGERLY died on 11 November 1952 at the General Hospital in Baton Rouge, at age 78 years, according to her obituary which appeared in the New Orleans Times-Picayune on 12 November 1952. Her funeral was held in Lake Arthur, LA.
