I am researching: - the Richards family from Llantrisant. Thomas born 1869, was the son of David and Margaret. David's parents were Thomas and Mary. - the Hollinshead family from Staffordshire, who ended up in Llantrisant - their daughter marrying into the Richards family Thomas in 1905.Her parents were Abraham (sometimes known as Samuel) and Ann. They moved to Llantrisant in the late 1890's - the Pollard family from Newport, Monmouthshire (although i have been informed that they originally came from Cornwall) that ended up in Cardiff. Most of the male members were stonemasons.Arthur Pollard was the son of Frederick and Catherine and he was born in Llandaff, Cardiff, Wales. - the Buttimore family from Cork, Ireland. Information on this side is thin.George Buttimore born 1881 married Susan Payne born 1897. george's dad was John a ship's carpenter living on the Old Yaughal Road. Susan's parents were Charles Payne and Sarah Allen. Any information that you have would be most grateful and I will share with you. |
