This is a rough sketch of my family tree on both sides. I am looking for information on my great grandfather John Ruben Pickard born around 1874, resided in Ontario near Wahnipitae and may have returned to Michigan Mount Pleasant area. His parents were said to have owned a lumber mill there. His son John and his daughter Betty lived in the Detroit area. I expect that I have a lot of American relatives in the Michigan area. Son John later retired from the Dearborn Police Force to Arizona. Margaret (Toronto), Tom (Kitchener) and Allan (Cobalt) resided in Ontario, Canada. All children of John Ruben are deceased. I also need further information on his wife Odianne Gauthier and her descendents.
I am also looking for information on my great, great grandfather Henry Guppy who was the Sheriff of Pembroke, ON and also worked as a contractor. His wife Sara is buried in Pembroke. They came Canada through Montreal - allegedly on the Annandale that sailed from Gloucester, England in 1865. Henry disappeared from Canadian Census records around 1891.
