Lemuel Mallery (1789-1842) and Esther Tuttle Updated October 20, 2006
About Our Family Research
Researching ancestors and descendants of Lemuel Mallery (1789-1842) and Esther Tuttle of Wayne County, Pennsylvania. I am direct discendant - of their child John Sherman Mallery (1814-1857), father of Lemuel Mallery (1843-1927), father of James Mallery (1876-1937) who was a foreman on the Erie Railroad and lived in Hale Eddy, NY (between Hancock and Deposit). James was my grandfather. Database I have is from research done by Ira D. Mallery and Mildred Mallery Tewksbury entitled: "American Lineage of the Mallery Family of Wayne County, PA" The booklet includes 3 pages of early Mallery history in Connecticut starting arund 1634, 4 pages on early Tuttle history, a database with notes on descendants of Lemuel and Esther Tuttle Mallery, and finally Tales that were told to Ira Mallery by his parents (Ira's father, Thomas was son of Lemuel and Esther Tuttle Mallery).
