I am a member of this family and in Germany I was born.
My grandfather was born in Kopaigorod in close proximity to Kiev. After the murder of the tsar and ever larger influence of communism my grandfather with its five brothers from Belarus fled.
As passionate orthodox patriot, he saw no more future for itself in this country. As it finally to Germany arrived and why it during World War II then even soldier of the German army did not become is exactly well-known. Although it proved to this time as complicated, it married some years before outbreak of the 2nd world war a German woman. This and that he was before its escape a teacher for languages, probably was its luck. Probably was it for the Nazis as interpreters more valuable than it that ever admitted itself. t always thought nevertheless of its homeland and of its compatriots. Thus some it brought itself into own danger and to favour the Russian imprisoned consciously wrongly translated. I hope that I everything correctly translated here or which one understands at least in something which I writes. Thus the history of the Gurandos from Germany began. It interests me very much where the brothers of my grandfather fled and whether it gives of this descendants. Unfortunately there is hardly over it information me for the order, since my Grandpa spoke rarely about this terrible time. I was still another small boy as he it then nevertheless times did. Which me in memory remained, is the name of the great-grandfather and the names of a brother of it. The first name of my great-grandfather was Nikifor and that of the brother Anatoli.
