About Our Family Research

This is my mothers's family line which I had not delved in- to very deeply until now. I started my family research back in the 70's when my children were very small and only got so far. In recent years the internet has renewed my interest and I've spent a great deal of time on my fathers's line, both on the web and back in courthouses, as well as corresponding with other family researchers. I just retired a year ago from teaching--an early retirement because I wanted to be able to keep my grandchildren when needed and be able to spend time with my family. But the main reason I have gone to work on this line again is that finally, a cousin who moved away from my area years ago called and wanted to know if I had any information on his grandfather's line (my great-grandfather). I was so gratified and excited that someone else in my family has an interest in this, which is my passion!
