When I was a child, my great-grandparents never spoke much of their families. A school project for my children made me realize just how little I knew of my family genealogy even though I went to an annual reunion as a child. I want my children, grand-children and great-grandchildren to all know who I was and who came before me.
I hope to find information regarding several family branches. Mainly the Hamblett family as very little is known about them. I also hope to locate information on Preston, Ferguson,Toler,Horton, Foster and McMillian (adoptive relatives to my mother).
I am from Virginia and most of my family are in Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina.
