Having children and seeing the World Trade Towers come down makes you realize how short life can be. Our family has never had all the information in one place and therefore I have taken it upon myself to accomplish the task with the hopes of expanding the known information with new discoveries in the process. Looking at the names is nothing compared to the stories behind the names. What hurts most is the information never passed on because nobody cared to ask. So far as I begin this journey I see we have the inventor of the postage stamp, a sail maker for the big ships that would brave the Atlantic Ocean, and a general who served under the founding father of this great nation. This is only the beginning. How I wish I could turn to the last chapter and see how it all comes out. However that would mean missing the journey of discovery and seeing how it all the pieces go together. There are so many bits and pieces that need to be included. However if they are not presented properly they could be lost forever. Everytime someone dies a wealth of information goes with them. Some of those doors are shut forever. Hopefully I will find the right doors to pry open and the right questions to ask of the right people. The time has come to return to research. I hope you enjoy what you see and if you find a match please share it with us so we can expand this horizon. Thankyou. My only hope is that the information enclosed is not deleted until after it has been completed.
