Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
My family tree is on Family Tree Maker's World Family Tree vol. 3, #1214. That gets me back to Philip Haas I, 1770-1806--although it doesn't list a location, I strongly suspect it to be Gangloff, near Mainz (then Rhien, Bavaria; now Rhienland-Pfalz). The family settled near Upper Sandusky, Wyandot county, Ohio after a brief time in Port Washington, Ohio.
I would like to find information beyond this if anyone has any clues. I would also like to know if anyone knows of specific heraldry for this line of Haas'--with so many different Haas lines, is there just the one that all these places sell or might there be some unique ones for the different Haas families.
ANY information about the Haas family will be appreciated.
