William Roy Handiboe and Lora Margaret (Lewis) married 31 years-both born in Washington DC. William on 4-24-45 and Lora 11-07-1948. Married in what was "Old" Hyattsville on Larch Ave-in the church "Our Lady of Sorrows" Roman Catholic Church. Now the area is called Takoma Park, MD- Montgomery Co. I think it use to be right on the border of Prince Georges and Montgomery County MD. Billy formerly lived 2404 Amherst Rd-Lewisdale MD and Lora at 1402 East-West Highway in Hyattsville, MD. Gladys L. Handiboe use to give many reunions on Amherst Rd. Billy and I moved to Glen Burnie, MD on April 1, 1989-and are buying a condo 2/2-with 6 or so yrs left to pay. We have one son John Howard Handiboe born in NC-"Cape Fear" Hospital in Fayetteville NC in 1971 while Billy was in the Army. John is now married to Laurie (McCloskey) Handiboe married 3-99-they have a daughter Brittanny Marie Handiboe-born in Harbor Hospital Valentines Day 1991. they live in Glen Burnie and bought a home in the "Old" "nice" Glen Burnie area 1999. My mother Marie and Father Howard I Lewis both are in a nursing home Millennium in Glen Burnie-my mothers maiden name was "Elfers" Billy's mother's maiden name was "Stoner" born in Washington DC in 1919-June- Lora's mother Marie was born in NY City in 1921.
