Hi, my name is Christi Dawn Hackelton-Cox I am from Fayetteville Arkansas. My father is Carl Douglas Hackelton and his father was Charles Richard Hackelton dob 08/09/1914 dod 10/1974. His parents were Joseph Franklin Hackelton and Lillian Thomas Hill Hackelton. They were married on 06/21/1903. Joseph's dob was 11/24/1875 and Lillian's dob was 12/15/1885. She was born in Devall's Bluff, AR. Other children of theirs were as follows with date of birth listed after the names :

His information is that the Hackelton's of Arkansas are of Irish descent but we have no definite proof on that theory. There is a Hackelton's Bluff in Barbados, named for a man that comitted suicide there many years ago. I have also been in contact with Karissa Hackelton of Florida via email, but like myself has no further information on her ancestory either.
