Welcome,
This a story in reverse.I have traced my family tree back as far as the early 1800's,covered six generations on my fathers side through his mother Nova. We are the Miller's,(of Indiana)the West's ,& the Reece's(of Jefferson Co. Ill.)
We are the Staley's(from Holland through PA.to Nebraska), the Tallon's(of Oaklahoma) the Jones's (of New York), the Cotrelli's( of Ill.) And it goes on & on our neverending story. This is the kind of History that draws you in as it is our own history. I started all this back in 2000. And I find out new tidbits all the time. It has become my mission,to find out where I came from beyond the small family I already new about. Who where they? What were thier lives like what did they do for a living.
My mothers side seem to be mostly farmers and people of the land. My Fathers side is rather colorfull. Full of reveling facts that I would never have expected to find. Back in the day they did not communicate well, Times were sooo different. I have posted several pix and really look at them. Their hands are very worn, their face are hard and leather like. I will update this page as I learn more.
