Most of the information that I have is what I have gotten from other members of the family and from listening to my father and Grandfather. I had been quite active in it for several years and then my husband and I bought a business and for 13 years I really didn't have time to work on it but we sold our business a year ago and I have become very interested in working at it again. I have joined my family.com and I have been finding information on the internet. My main goal is to find where our ancestor who we know of to be first in the United States is Isaac Glenn and we believe that he migrated from Scotland to North Carolina but I have not as yet found evidence of that. I have found his son, Joseph Berry Glenn on the 1830 census in Stokes County, North Carolina and that is where my fathers cousin had believed they were at. I am the 6th generation in the U.S. I am also trying to find more information on my Great Grsandmothers father who is John Cornelius Lee who was born in Tennessee and married in Boone County Kentucky. He is supposed to have been killed in the Civil war and then his family migrated to to Indiana where his daughter Rachel Adeline married my Great Grandfather,David Watson Glenn.
