I have researched the families of Johann Heinrich Christian Hagemann and Johnan Daniel Wind, my immigrating ancenstors. The Hagemanns came from Hohenassel, Braunswig, Germany and immigrated to the U.S. in 1852. They settled in St. Louis County, Missouri.

The Winds immigrated from Bromkirchen, Germany and also settled in St. Louis County, Missouri.
