This website was created in the interest of tracking and documenting my maternal family history and is dedicated to the loving memory of my maternal grandparents
Cecil Steve Sanders and Alma Virginia Dixon. It is my desire to honor & preserve these related family histories for posterity.

It follows then that the genealogical information found within these pages is based on the direct and associated lines of my Sanders and Dixon (Dickson) Families whose ancestries were found deeply rooted in the area known as present day Grundy County Tennessee.

This project remains a work in progress and is far from complete. I have spent the last year and a half focusing my research primarily on the SANDERS portion of my maternal family tree. My cousins, Mr. & Mrs. Bobby Henson of Birmingham, Alabama, researched much of the DIXON and related family information found here and I am grateful for their contributions.
