I went to a Harrelson Family Reunion in Falston, N. C. Where I met a Bob Carpenter who introduced me into looking for family trees. Carpenters already had a book with their family trees, but the Harrelson's in our line die not. The Kisers had a book in their line. Danny Keith Haralson had a book covering 3 or more sects of Haralson-Harrelson. Of which history was not there to connect each sect together. So I started delving into the line that I could find that was connected to me. I can go back to late 1600's but I cannot find how or where we entered the new world. We may be from King Harold, or Scotland, where we were possibly horse thieves or from England. Or we may be from Paul, but no link I can find exists. Normally The Harrelson reunion takes place on the first Sunday in October at the Bethlehem United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Gaston County just outside of Falston, N. C.
