Amanda's mother, Diana C. VanBibber-Reed, introduced her to her families extensive history. Diana has traced and documented generations of their family heritage. The VanBibber family were of a Dutch-German descent and immigrated to America around the same time frame as William Penn's voyages. The VanBibber family can boast relations to great American heroes such as Patrick Henry of the Revolutionary War and Daniel Boone. The Reed family has been a little more difficult to document, but they have managed to compile a somewhat-incomplete family tree. Now that Amanda has married, she is eager to continue researching her family tree and to expand it to include her husband's heritage as well.
