The Vine is a quarterly newsletter for and about researchers of Lincoln County, Maine. We have Mayflower descendants genealogies, free queries, free ads, space for obituaries and tributes to people who have donated their time and effort for the genealogical and historical cause. George Farrington Dow is the focus of the April edition of The Vine. He, at age 95, is Town Historian and official tour guide for the Nobleboro, Maine Historical Society. If you have ancestors from Maine, this is the place to be, since Lincoln County encompassed most of Maine in the 1700's. It was originally part of Massachusetts and New York. Some Lincoln County records are in MA and NY archives.
The newsletter is $25.00 per year and is 20 pages long in full color.
