I have been searching for ancestors in my trees beginning with my father,Joseph Edward White and going back further.So far I have gotten back to the 1700s where families get a little mixed up.Info has gotten left out or in the wrong place causing much confusion.But I am working through it.Some of the names in the tree so far are as follows: Medie Lafayette White,Brinson Ross White,William Gabriel White,John White.These are on my grandfather's side.My grandfather's wife's side is as follows: Mary L Suttles,John Allen Suttles,William Suttle,Rebecca Ann Bentley,Mary Allen, Hiram Bentley.In some records Suttles has an "S" on the end of some of the members,but not all of a family.Various spellings for Meda have been found.One set of parents are way too young for the children they supposedly had.Any help would be appreciated.My father's mother's name was said to be Mattie Verbena Rich,but as yet I have not been able to find her anywhere as Rich.Could she possibly be a Rick?
