As far as we can tell they were from North Carolina in the early 1700. Where they came from no one knows.
The only child they show to have was Levy David Harmon who married Nancy Ann White in 1787 in St Martinsville, La
They had three children, Ann Harmon 1788, John Harmon,Sr.1790,Sarah Harmon,1792.
I am of the John Harmon, Sr. branch of the family. John, Married Elizabeth Clark and had 6 children. David, Susanah, Joshua, Hester, Elizabeth John Harmon, Jr.
Joshua Harmon was my Greatgrandfather, he married Cleonize Peveto and they had 9 children. My grandfather was Charles Harmon and my father was Alva Joshua Harmon. If you need more information contact me at beharmon@ih2000.net
