Research into our family tree has just begun. Unfortunately some of our most valuable sources of information are now gone so the research will be very slow and possibly difficult. The Smith Clan originated in North Carolina and the Huddleston Clan originated in West Virginia. The family members have migrated all over the United States and their whereabouts are relatively unknown by the few members still living in Virginia. So the search begins............
