| I am researching family mainly from my mother's side. This includes the Hamer family who settled in Mitchel Indiana. Their settlement is now incorperated into Spring Mill State Park. Open for display at the park are some homes, small shops and the old grist mill where an aquaduct still turns the giant water wheel. The Hamer cemetary is also there and is a real helpfull source of family information as well. Any information you can provide would be much appreciated. Thanks! |
