My last name is Harris. My father was married to Evelyn May Hansen on 2/28/48 in Elgin, Illinois. Her Birthdate is May 1st, 1929 0r 1930. 3 female children were formed from this marriage. We were raised by our father Robert George Harris Sr.. We have not seen our mother (Evelyn) Since we were toddlers. We would love to make contact with any family members and learn more about our families history. Other names we are familiar with are: Aurand/ Nina & Inqwall, Minnie Phillips and Wesley Aurand, Violet Markham, Margaret Markham, Earnestine Raddatz, also Samuelson.
We know relatives lived in Elgin, Dundee, Hampshire and Algonquin, Ill. also possibly from Wisconsin.
I am 2nd to the oldest daughter, Carol and I was born May19th 1950. I have 1 grown daughter and a son who died at age12 and 5 grandchildren. I am now located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
My oldest sister Lurene was born Jan. 8th 1949. She has 3 grown children. 2 daughters and 1 son. She has 4 grandchildren. She lives in Collinsville, Oklahoma.
My younger sister Christine was born Oct. 1st,1951,.Chris died June 2003 of a accidental drug overdose, she lived in Tennessee at the time of her death.. Chris has 4 grown children, 3 daughters, 1 son. She has 10 grandchildren.
We were adopted by my Fathers 2nd wife Jeanette. We have 4 siblings, 2 sisters and 2 brothers from this Union. Jeanette died Feb 23rd, 2008 from pancreatic disease.
Our Father Robert George Harris Sr. was born Oct.11th, 1924 and died April 5th 1988. He died from a brain tumor secondary to lung cancer.
