I have been researching the roots of the family of Charels Henry Lillie of Menlo, Iowa and Antonia Lafleur of ville Platte and Opelousas, Louisiana for about 35 years. I've had a lot of help in my research from the publications of Rev. Donald Hebert as well as work done by my maternal aunt, Edna Lafleur Delery and my paternal cousins, Father Edward Lillie and Sister Mary Stella Lillie.
