Family is important to me. There is a lot of love and interesting people among the Bachmann blood lines. I have over 100 names and six generations on the Bachmann family tree thanks to assistance, good memories, and records from various relatives. It has been a lot of fun contacting people and getting to know histories. I hope to put together a Bachmann family reunion complete with photo albums, a huge family tree, and a history book sometime in 2005. I hope to continue to have the assistance of my many relatives in this feat. The tree originates form John Bachmann, an orphan who immigrated to Baltimore, Maryland from West Germany sometime in the late 1800's. He was my great grandfather. He was a Baltimore police officer whose beat was Fell's Point. I am unable to trace our family further back than that. John and his wife, Katherine (White) of Aberdeen, MD had five children, three boys and two girls. I am so far unable to trace the girls. I have found a lot of the boys children but am still searching for more. Any assistance is appreciated. If you want copies of anything I have so far, I am happy to share. Claudine (Bachmann) Harris
