Most of my knowledge has been obtained via relatives, and goes back several generations on my maternal and fraternal sides, although my fraternal lineage may be slightly suspect due to poor records kept by the British government of immigrants from Asia to British Guyana when they arrived there as indentured workers from India. My maternal lineage, going back to European settlers in New France, is more complete and likely more accurate.
