I am just starting to document our family tree so that it can be passed on to my son who was born 1 August 2001. It is interesting to see where many of my ancestors have come from. On my fathers side, his father came from England in 1905. His mother was first generation american with roots from her mother and father in germany. My moms side of the family has roots in America that date back to the late 1700's.
