One of my ancestors was the brother of Robert Barclay who wrote "Barclay's Apology" from Urye, Scotland. One ancestor is a cartoonist in California. Many Civil War, World I, and II soldiers in my ancestry. Rich and Poor. We have traced our ancestors back to England, Germany, Italy, Scotland, and USA. In USA, our families lived in Vermont, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, California, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky. I have wills and inventories, car titles, photos, tin plate photos, lineages, land records, deeds, and histories. I am in possession of a 1908 little girls dress and shoes. I have copies of a 1792 family Bible owned by a Maryland Historical Society.

c. 1930's Meet "Annie" Porter on her front porch in front of her family's cotton fields, farm animals, barns, smokehouse, outhouse, and other farm implements.
The Porter farm was located in Bugtussle, Fannin Co., TX. They donated a corner of their land for the little school where the Porter grandchildren attended school.
