My family history is very sketchy. As a young child I was placed in foster care after a car accident took the life of my Mother and left my father severly injured. After many years we where returned to our family. My Mothers side of the family is here, but my Fathers family is scattered. My Father has passed away,before he died he told stories about his childhood I want to learn more. I know of two uncles Larry and Bud Oviatt,from the west coast. One Aunt, Vera Piper of Iowa.This is my first attempt to do anything like this. I hope to pass this family history onto my two sisters Vicky and Florene, and four brothers Rick ,Jim ,Larry ,and Greg Oviatt.
