The Hause/Hauss/Hass/Huss line comes down from our ancestor Jacob Hauss who came to America on the "Betsy" Sept.19, 1765 and landed in the state of PA. By 1770 Jacob was in Lincoln Co. N.C. and had bought 400 acres of land from Samuel Wilson Jr. Then in 1773 he bought 300 acres at Leonard's Fork, N.C.
Jacob had at least four sons:
1) Christain, who moved to OH in 1811 with his wife Sarah, sons, John, David, and Henry; daughters: Sarah, Barbara, and Anna.

4) John
