George Argue and Mary Wilson

Updated November 9, 2000

About Our Family Research

The Argue's were originally Scottish but fled to Ireland at the time of the Reformation. George and Mary Argue came to Canada from County Cavan, Ireland in 1821, with their four sons, William, Robert, Andrew and John, as well as two daughters, Ann and Jane. They crossed the Atlantic Ocean in a little sailing vessel which took three months en route.
In this tree I have listed only my direct ancestors upto George and Mary as well as the siblings of each generation. I have further information on some of the Argue descendants and would be very interested in exchanging any information with interested people. Feel free to contact me at the e-mail address listed.
