Pierre arrived in Acadia in 1654, as one of the company assembled by
Emmanuel LeBourgne de Belle-Isle. Pierre was a miller at Pree Ronde,
at the head of the Port-Royal river. He later founded Chipoudy,
modern Hopewell, New Brunswick.
