filed Oct. 1825

I James Young Justice of the Peace being authorized by James ______
Notary Public and being (requested) by the widow William Moore and the
heirs of the deceased William Moore to appraise the estate...widow
William Moore and the aforesaid heirs...appointed William Link &
Frederick Miller to appraise the following property...this
10th...1825 Parish of St. Landry.


1st The tract of land on which the...resides containing one
hundred and twenty two arpents within the improvement
appraised at one hundred and eighty dollars. $180

2nd Two work horses appraised at thirty dollars. $30

3rd One cow and calf one two years old and two calves appraised
at twenty two
dollars.

4th One mare just broke (and) her (colt) and one yearling horse
appraised at twenty five dollars. $25

5th Fifteen head of hoggs and the mash appraised at thirty
dollars. $30

6th One (steal) mill appraised at five dollars. $5

7th Seven potts appraised at seven dollars. $7

8th two bed stedds one bed and furniture to the bed appraised at
twenty dollars. $20

9th one...appraised at five dollars. $5

10th two hoes and one auger one draw knife & one ax appraised at
five dollars. $5

11th one plough appraised at seven dollars. $7

12th one jug appraised at twenty five cents. .25

13th one loome one cotton (gin) one spinning wheele appraised at
eleven dollars. $11

14th the branding iron three 33 appraised at three dollars. $3

15th five chairs and one table appraised at six dollars. $6

having appraised all the Estate in community...the above mentioned
ammounting to three hundred and fifty five dollars and seventy five
cents we hereto signing our names...present of the...being witnesses
this 10th October 1825 at the Parish of St. Landry.
