About Our Family Research

Salut, mes cousins et cousines!
---My name is Brenda Hébert. I have always been interested in my family history, but have been working on my family tree for only the last seven years. The following are some of the surnames on the reports I have uploaded.
---"Ancestors of Edward Joseph Hebert" is an Ancestral Report of my paternal grandfather's ancestors. Grandpa is mainly French-Canadian, but after the U.S. Revolutionary War a couple German lines married into his ancestral lines.
---"Ancestors of Lillian Gertrude Merkle" is an Ancestral Report of my paternal grandmother's ancestors. Grandma was German on her father's side and Irish on her mother's. The MERKLE family may be from Blaubeuren or Tomerdinger in Baden-Württemberg. The TASCHERs (purportedly related to Josephine TASCHER's family) were from Friesenheim, Baden-Württemberg. I'm still working on tracking down the WALLACE (from Co. Westmeath?) and DONOVAN (from Co. Cork?) ancestors.
---"Ancestors of Sharon Elizabeth Beatty" is an Ancestral Report of my mother's ancestors. This section of my ancestors has been very challenging to track down. The JOHNSONs I have not been able to find information in Norway on. The BEATTYs bring in a lot of colonial Pennsylvania families. The WATSONs are from Co. Durham or the Teesdale District in England. The DAWSONs lead back to several colonial families from New England and the Virginias.
---"Ancestors of Robert Stephen Smith" is an Ancestral Report of my son's paternal ancestors. These families are firmly rooted in the southern U.S. states. This chart includes the lineage of Gen. Claire CHENNAULT, the C.O. of the Flying Tigers of World War II.
