I come from a very small family that is dwindling in size with each generation. Jack B. Hebner,Sr is my father. He is the oldest of 3 children to Herbert Hill Hebner and Leola June Bennett. And he was their only son. He has 4 children and only 6 grandchildren. Two of whom are adopted. There are 3 grandsons to carry on the Hebner name. Both of his parents' families have long histories in Bedford, PA.

My mother's family is equally as small. She is the only daughter of Wallace C. Kline and Grace B. McNett. She has 2 brothers who had 9 children between them. I don't have much information on who her grandparents were and no dates or locations of any family. The best place I can start with them will be Cumberland, Maryland.

I'm just starting this genealogy stuff. It's my hope that I can document as much history of our family as possible for the sake of my sons and their families. And maybe even find a link to the American Revolution so I can put my name in the annales of the DAR.

I'm open to suggestions and help from anyone willing to share. So far it's been a lone-search an I haven't gotten very far.
