Our family has a reunion every five years alternating between Plainview, MN and Horicon, WI. The next reunion will be held in Horicon, WI in the year 2006. The CA. and KY. Neitzels and CA. Hebrards trek to each one of them in order to better know our relatives. My father Kermit E. Neitzel was the patriark of the Neitzel family until he passed away in Kimberling City, MO. 10/14/2002. My aunt Helen Humphry Neitzel is the matriark and was married to the late Zane Wallace Neitzel, brother of Kermit E. Neitzel. Kermit has four living children: Margaret Elizabeth Hebrard, Nancy Ellen Neitzel, Kermit Harvey and Kenneth Christopher Neitzel. Son James Edward Alexander Neitzel died in an auto accident at the age of 16 on 11/28/1980. He skidded on black ice outside the entrance to Silver Dollar City, MO. Our mother Mary Elizabeth Harvey Neitzel died five months later 5/1/1981 of a broken heart. Written by Margaret Hebrard, daughter
