About Our Family Research


I am interested in learning about the ancestry of my family, specifically on the Hedrick side. From conversation with my grandmother, the Hedricks came from Pennsylvania and other information that I have seen leads me to believe that the family originally came from Germany. My father and his family lived in Pittsylvania County, VA for most of their lives. My parents, grandparents and great-grandparents are buried in the Chathem Cemetary in Chatham, VA. Much work lie ahead!
