The Hedtke's via Ellis Island to Central Florida

Updated July 8, 2007

About Our Family Research

Welcome

Most of our family research has yet to be transferred online although a good deal of it has been put to print. Once this information is put online, it should be accessed through the Hedtke.net website. Our family was one of many who left the old countries now Poland - Before Germany, who left after the American war between the states to come settle in America. Most of our ancestors seem to have come through Ellis Island, although in all cases there is no record of that, although I have a photo copy of an original transport document and entry through Ellis Island of that event for at least one of our ancestors. You must remember that just because some bureaucracy claims something doesn't exist, it more than likely can not be trusted. The same is true with the documentation of the LDS records, yet I know they exist, because I entered them on behalf of the family. Always trust in yourself, love your family always, provide and earn what you have and believe in God. Always remember, using your head is the key to solving any problem. Quote attributed to Mark Hedtke, founder of the Hedtke Institute.
