This branch of the Kersbergens originated in The Netherlands. They came to the United States in approximately 1887. My Greatgrandfathers name was Bert Kersbergen, although we have found many places in the Unites States Cenus where he is listed as Bart Kerbergen. He was married to Antje Post. Their children were all born in the Netherlands, John, Henry, Arie and Gertrude. (It is possible that their names became Americanized after they reached the United States.)
The Kersbergens lived mainly in the Pella area. My older brother lives in Pella, but my sister and younger brother and myself lives in Knoxville, about 12 miles from Pella. I would love to get more information on The Kersbergens.
