The research I have done on Robert R. Nelson has came from my father and his sister. I would love to be able to go back father but as of yet I have been unsuccessful. Robert is from the Mt. Airy area of NC I have been told but I cannot locate him in any census. I have been told that he had a brother that stayed there and his name was Joe. And there were other children whom I do not have the names as of yet. I have also been told that his father died at a young age but cannot confirm that since I don't even have his name.
