I have been trying to trace my family back in history, but my great grandfather did not list his fathers first name on his marriage license. I did find his mothers name but that does not help me find his father. Some of my grandfathers brothers and sisters moved to Ohio and are living around the Niles, Ohio area. If anyone can help it will appreciated very much. My Great- Grandfathers name was Herman Albert Heitman. He married Mary Griffin. I have Document that they were both orphans and were raised by a Reverend Tricket Between Hamilton and Nauvoo,Illinos. It is believed that His parents were from south of Warsaw, Illinois.Can anyone help me with finding my Great-Great-grandfather?
