I was always interested in our family history, but the family
history was always kept like the indians of the old west. There
was one member of the tribe that passed on the stories for the
rest of the family to know where they came from. Well I have
been hearing these stories for forty years and all of sudden,I
realized that the story tellers were disappearing. There are only
few of the old ones left, and age is beginning to disturb their
memories, they dont recall the stories as well as they used to.
So this will be a wonderfull oppurtunity to record it while it
is still fairly fresh in my mind. I have a few hard copy stories
and still get to attend the family reunions, so maybe I can re-
cord this information for the next generation to come. I hope
someday that these records help someone in my family.
