I am researching both my paternal and maternal trees. Most of my information to date has been from census records, a few birth, death and marriage documents and a large amount of oral history. All of my information points to a long history from 1850 in Philadelphia and Montgomery county Pa. for the John Heins family. Some of the surnames in the family are:Joules, Biggard,Lederach, Davis.

My maternal line is the Edward Jennings family dating to about 1880 in the Philadelphia area. Some of the surnames in the family are Bauer, Carlson, Remphle.

Descendents of both families are now scattered to many locations beyond the Delaware Valley region.
