We have an uncommon last name in this country, and I'd like to find out where I came from. Because our name is rare, I figured tracing our genealogy should be a little easier than more common names (i.e. Smith; which I'll have to research from my mother's side of the family!). I'm new to this, and I'm not sure of how daunting a task this may end up being, but I figure it'll be worth all the blood, sweat, and tears.
