I am very interested in following up on family ties back in England..... My grandfather Frank Mundell and his sisters Daisy & Mary imigrated to New Zealand early last century.. Frank married Gladys Wilkinson also from england her father was a Rev James Wilkinson who at one time was the minister at Upton Cross.
Frank Mundells father was a Benjamin Mundell who was a potato merchant... I believe from a newspaper clipping that there were 700 present at their farewell to new Zealand quoting that the community would miss this family.. My father Ronald Lester Mundell was born in auckland NZ had an older brother Trevor
& Younger brother Don Mundell...
Ron Mundell married Dorothy Kirkby and had four children Lester Kingsley James Mundell, Sharon Isabel [ married Paul R Heke]Kerry Wayne Mundell married Kerry Glenda Bracegirdle... Alaister Colin Mundell married Catherine Gaines and have two sons James & Samuel Mundell.
My father Ron named my brother Lester Kingsley after dads first cousin Muriel Lester and her late brother Kingsley....
