I know that Nils or Nicklas Hellgren was the first of the Johanssons to take on the Hellgren name for some unknown reason and married Anna Olivia Olofsdotter and they had 9 children, Oscar T., Adolf, Elof or Emil, Hjalmar, Karl, Walfred, Leopold, Otaria, and Rebecka. Nils was born on 11/04/1833, Anna was born on 10/31/1842. They were Married on 11/20/1857 and had 9 children. Oscar T. had 2 children Alice and Carl. Alice got married but her husband died several years later. Carl married Frances and had one daughter, Grace, who married John Easley. They had 2 daughters, Jennifer and Jill.
